Coach Brent Lay is a certified I'm Possible coach and trainer!
I'm Possible training: used for training grassroots to the pros - including Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, Mario Chalmers, Evan Turner, Ben McLemore, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Jeremy Lin, and Karl-Anthony Towns and Jewell Lloyd, the most recent NBA & WNBA Rookies of the Year, among others.

Coaches
The Glendowie Hoopsters began as a vision to make the local Glendowie College a strong basketball school. Our coaches are passionate about youth basketball and we coach in the local area.
We believe that Glendowie Hoopsters will:

bring youth together playing a great sport;

allow local children to become good friends with others that may attend the same high school one day;

provide a group of well skilled athletes for high school basketball programmes.
Our head coaches are all ex-basketball players, and coach youth players currently. Our head coaches are:
Adrian Boyd - CEO of the Boyd Basketball Academy; and
Brent Lay - certified coach and trainer with I'm Possible Training, the training programme for players at all levels - grassroots to the pros - including Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, Mario Chalmers, Evan Turner, Ben McLemore, Avery Bradley, Jeff Green, Jeremy Lin, and Karl-Anthony Towns and Jewell Lloyd, the most recent NBA & WNBA Rookies of the Year, among others.
Our assistant coaches are basketball players. They have been carefully selected for the job, and are keen to develop experience that will assist them in later life. A adult coach is present at all times.
